Eaton, OH - The Eaton Boys and Girls teams once again claimed the Preble County Championships held at the new Eaton track & field complex.
Several Eaton athletes claimed individual county titles with Seth Reynolds (110 M Hurdles) and Michelle McKinney (800 Meter Run) setting new county records. Individual County Champions were:
110 Meter Hurdles - 15.49 R - Seth Reynolds - New County Record 1600 Meter Run - 4:9.08 - Andy Newport 4 x 100 Meter Relay (G) - 55.66 - Courtney Smith, Brooke Selby, Liana Dickerson & Kristi Floyd 4 x 100 Meter Relay (B) - 45.85 - Damon Willard, Yue Lin, Zavier Spears & Tyrell David 400 Meter Run - 53.51 - Zavier Spears 300 Meter Hurdles - 50.66 - Brooke Selby 300 Meter Hurdles - 43.37 - Seth Reynolds 800 Meter Run - 2:20.27 R - Michelle McKinney - New County Record 200 Meter Dash - 28.66 - Kristi Floyd 3200 Meter Run - 10:50.47 - Andy Newport 4x400 Meter Relay (G) - 4:28.57 - Liana Dickerson, Kristi Floyd, Taylor Broermann & Michelle McKinney Long Jump - 18' 8.25" - Seth Reynolds Pole Vault (G) - 8' 0" - Stephanni Smith Pole Vault (G) - 11' 6" - Seth Wright Hammer Throw (B) - 98' 09" - Brandon George
"The boys and girls teams did a very nice job of getting it done and claiming another county title. As usual, the county schools come to compete and of course they want to beat Eaton, that's what gives the kids that little extra incentive to win. Also adding to the mix is that many of our athletes have relatives and close friends from the county schools that are competing", said Coach McKinney.

This week the Eagles will travel to the Lebanon Invitational on Wednesday minus Michelle McKinney & Taylor Broermann. Broermann and McKinney will be participating in the "Rod Russell" Mason Invite @ Mason, OH on Friday in a special race called the "Ohio Dream Mile."
