Eagles Set Many PR's & Season Best @ TVS Invite

West Alexandria, OH - Last night the boys and girls teams both finished 5th in a field of 16 teams @ the TVS Invite. The weather was great and several new seasonal best and PR's were achieved by many Eagles.
Michelle McKinney continued her record setting pace by setting a new invitational record in the 800 meters of 2:18.96 (old record 2:22.30) followed by Taylor Broermann's second place finish and new PR of 2:27.51. Then the duo teamed up with Lianna Dickerson and Kristi Floyd to win the 4x400 relay in a new season best time of 4:24.95.
Seth Reynolds, Seth Wright and Zavier Spears led the boys team with early season PR performances. Zavier Spears won the 400m in a time of 53.05 and 200m (24.21; 3rd place), Seth Reynolds in the 110 hurdles (16.25; 2nd place) & long jump (19' 7.75"; 5th place), Seth Wright tied his season PR in the Pole Vault by clearing 13' 6" The boys 4x200 Relay team finished 2nd with a time of 1:37.40 almost catching the winning team of Ansonia at the finish line.
The TVS Invite was a successful one for the eagle athletes and will hopefully give everyone the extra confidence as they compete in the upcoming Dale Plank Invite & Eaton Invitational this week. Great job Eagles and Good Luck this week to all.
