Dayton, OH - Twenty two Eagles qualified and participated in the OHSAA Regional Championships this past weekend @ Welcome Stadium - University of Dayton Campus. Year after year the Dayton D2 Regionals is arguably the toughest of all four D2 regionals around the state to qualify out of and this year was no different. However, the Eagles held their own with 7 eagles getting on the awards stand and receiving medals.
The lady eagles were lead by Michelle McKinney's 800 meter regional title win (New School Record), Caitlin Highley's - 2nd place - Discus, Taylor Broermann's 5th place - 3200 and Zanna Spears 7th place -300 m Hurdles. The accumulative result being an 8th place team finish in the Lady's team standings.
The men were lead by Alan Sarver's 4th place - the pole vault, Seth Wright - 6th place - pole vault and Austin Baker - 6th place - 400 m. The end result being a 17th place team finish in the Men's team standings.

The OHSAA State Championships will be held this Friday & Saturday @ Jesse Owen's Memorial Stadium - OSU Campus - Columbus, OH.
